Mint

Our organic Mint is a classic culinary herb that has many uses. Originating from the Mediterranean it was introduced to northern Europe by the Romans. It can be used to enhance the flavour of many foods in cooking or used in tea to make a refreshing brew. Medicinally it stimulates the digestive system reducing flatulence and assists in cleaning the intestines.

Oregano

Our organic Oregano seeds will produce a plant that has a hearty and penetrating flavour from its leaves. Oregano is used extensively in Italian and Greek food, a pinch in an Avocado dip will add relish, and in everyday cooking try it instead of thyme or mixed herbs on vegetables and meats.

Basil

Our organic Basil seeds produce a herb that can be used in countless ways in food preparation. With its tangy taste it can be used with raw or cooked tomatoes and the chopped leaves can be sprinkled over cooked vegetables or added, during final cooking, to vegetable soups. Mix chopped leaves with cream cheese or add whole to salads or pasta dishes.

Chives

Our organic Garlic Chive seeds will produce a lush crop of this great herb. They should be finely chopped and added during the last few minutes of cooking so the delicate garlic flavour will not be destroyed. They are particularly good added to scrambled eggs or omelettes and in all the ways that you would use onion chives.

Coriander

The leaves of our organic coriander can be used extensively in cooking. With their unique flavour they will add an interesting spice to a whole host of foods, including fish, soups and meats. They also have been used as a folk medicine for the relief of anxiety and insomnia.
