Product Information

The 1,000L CAT5 Type AB Air Gap Break Tank is fully rust-proof and UK manufactured, supplied with a 10-year guarantee. It is made from WRAS-approved, UV-stabilised MDPE, formed as a one-piece, seamless tank for strength, durability, and long-lasting use.

With a Type AB air gap weir overflow, this tank helps prevent contamination of the mains water supply by stopping the inlet from being submerged during backflow events. A cowled screened overflow limits debris and light from entering the tank, and larger weirs can be provided for bigger inlets if needed.

Measuring 1400mm in diameter and 1350mm in height, the tank provides 1,000 litres of storage while remaining compact for installation. The 620mm lid allows easy filling, inspection, and maintenance, with a 1.5” outlet included. There are optional fittings available to suit your setup.
