The 1,050L CAT5 Type AB Air Gap Break Tank has a 1.5” outlet supplied as standard and a large 620mm lid for easy filling, inspection, and maintenance. Its cowled screened overflow helps keep debris out of the tank and limits light entry, protecting the water inside.
Designed for potable water systems that need Fluid Category 5 protection, this tank prevents contamination of the mains water supply with its Type AB air gap weir overflow. The air gap ensures the inlet does not become submerged, even during pressure drops.
Constructed from WRAS-approved, UV-stabilised MDPE, the tank is a one-piece, seamless unit, giving it excellent strength, durability, and resistance to rust. Manufactured in the UK, it comes with a 10-year guarantee and can be supplied quickly from stock. Optional modifications, including additional fittings, are available to suit specific installation requirements.
