The 10,000L CAT5 Type AB Air Gap Break Tank is intended for large potable water systems where a high storage volume and mains water protection are required. It is suitable for commercial and industrial installations that must meet Fluid Category 5 standards.
The tank is manufactured in the UK from WRAS-approved, UV-stabilised polymer. It is fully rust-proof and made as a seamless, one-piece unit for strength and long service life. A 10-year guarantee is included.
To prevent backflow, the tank is fitted with a Type AB Air Gap weir overflow. A cowled screened overflow with stainless steel mesh helps keep debris and light out of the tank. The tank measures 2400mm in diameter and 3000mm high and is supplied with a 620mm lid and a 2” outlet as standard.
