The 3,000L CAT5 Type AB Air Gap Break Tank is fitted with a cowled, stainless steel screened overflow to block debris and reduce light, ensuring clean and safe operation. It comes with a 620mm lid and a 1.5” outlet as standard, allowing easy access for installation, inspection, and maintenance.
Built to meet Fluid Category 5 standards, this break tank has a Type AB air gap weir overflow that provides backflow protection for inlets up to 50mm. It helps keep the mains water supply safe from contamination if pressure drops.
Manufactured from WRAS-approved, UV-stabilised MDPE, the tank is rotationally moulded as a single, seamless unit for strength and long service life. It is fully rust proof, made in the UK, and supplied with a 10-year guarantee. With a diameter of 1400mm and a height of 2435mm for up to 32mm inlets, increasing to 2635mm for up to 50mm inlets, it is suitable for larger potable water installations.
