The 300L CAT5 Type AB Air Gap Break Tank is designed for safe potable water storage where Fluid Category 5 protection is required. It is built to help prevent backflow contamination when connected to the mains water supply. The tank is made from WRAS-approved, UV-stabilised polymer and has a one-piece, seamless construction that provides strength, durability, and long service life. It is 100% rust proof, UK manufactured, and supplied with a 10-year guarantee.
This break tank comes with a Type AB air gap weir overflow to comply with Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations. The air gap stops the inlet from being submerged, helping to protect the mains water supply if pressure falls.
A covered overflow with a screen reduces light entering the tank and stops debris from getting in. The open top with a fitted lid makes inspection and maintenance easy. Optional fittings and changes are available to suit different installation needs.
