The Brighton Steel Perch Seat – Axis is a strong and practical seating option, ideal for bus shelters and public waiting areas. Designed for everyday use, it combines durability with a modern look that suits many urban spaces.
The frame is made from a 76 mm diameter steel tube for stability, while the seat is built from perforated 2 mm sheet steel, finished with a 38 mm steel tube around the edge for extra strength and safety. With a length of 1112 mm, a width of 345 mm, and a seat height of 747 mm, it offers reliable comfort while keeping a compact size that fits well in busy areas.
The steel is coated with zinc and paint to protect it from the weather, and it comes in different colours to suit the area. For areas near the coast, we recommend an extra galvanised treatment to protect against corrosion. The seat is concreted directly into the ground, giving it a secure and permanent fix, even in high-traffic spaces.
