The Collapsible Ashford Bollard is a strong and reliable solution for controlling vehicle access and marking pedestrian areas. Made from high-quality steel, the bollard is zinc-primed and painted in standard colours to resist wear and weather. The bollard is set straight into the ground with concrete, giving it a solid and stable base. Its self-locking system uses an 11 mm triangle key, making it simple and safe to operate.
The bollard features a galvanised steel ground-cover, 460 mm in diameter and 10 mm thick, finished in black with a non-slip texture for safety. Its sliding mechanism is powered by a sealed gas piston and guided by centre and side rails for smooth and reliable movement. The casing is made from galvanised steel tubing with lift eyelets to simplify installation. With a height of 1030 mm and width of 545 mm, the Collapsible Ashford Bollard is functional, durable, and visually unobtrusive in urban settings.
For locations within 5 miles of the coast, an extra weather treatment, such as galvanising, is recommended to protect against harsh coastal conditions.
