The Derwent Chair is a strong and comfortable seating option for parks, gardens, and other outdoor spaces. Its simple design blends well with any environment while providing a practical place to sit and relax.
The chair has a seat length of 600 mm and a height of 450 mm, offering ergonomic support for a wide range of users. It is built with a 30 x 50 mm steel frame that is zinc-primed and painted in a variety of colours for durability and style. The seat and backrest are made from PEFC-certified French oak, 36 mm thick, with optional armrests. The wood is treated with a water-based stain in light oak or mahogany to protect it from the weather and enhance its appearance.
The Derwent Chair is fixed onto base plates for a safe and stable setup. In coastal locations, applying extra galvanised treatment is advised to shield the steel from salty air and increase the chair’s durability.
